Module: Custom Values

The custom values feature allows users to assign custom name/value pairs to certain features in OLX, such as products and clients. Occasionally users need to define more fields for a particular feature than what can be supported by the feature’s dialog. The user can assign any number of custom values to designated sections of the system, instead of custom programming being limited to the existing fields that were not being used during the set up process.
The following sections can be assigned custom values:
- Campaigns
- Clients
- Locations
- Employees
- Products
- Product Groups
- Sources
- Toll Free Numbers
When you add or edit any of these features, a new tab will appear containing the custom values screen.
To add a new custom value, click on the “Add new record” button. This will insert a new row into the table and present two text boxes.
- Enter the custom name into the first field, and
- then the value into the second. The value can be any string, it does not have to be numeric.
Note: Field names must be unique for each individual feature.
Click the save icon to save the new custom value.
Click the arrow icon to cancel the custom value instead.
- To edit an existing custom value, click the pencil edit icon.
- To delete an existing custom value, click the red X icon.
Remember to save the record after saving the value
* To save the changes click the Save button

* To cancel any of the current changes you have made click the Cancel button
.
This will close the window without saving any changes.
* To apply the current changes you have made click the Apply button
.
* To print the current window click the Print button
.
* To delete the selection click the Delete button
.
This will prompt you to make sure you want to delete this item.
