What Is the function of the Rush Button?

The Rush button allows you to escalate an item in the shipping process.

IdeaYou can use Reports > Customer Service Reports > Customer Service Activity filtering for Reason Code = CHANGE_RUSH to report on the action button usage

Trouble Shooting


Setup

  1. Click on the Rush action button from the Order Detail screen
    1. eligible items are those that
      1. have not exported in a shipment batch AND in one of the below statuses:
        1. not yet available
        2. item pending
        3. item pay ready
        4. item ship ready
        5. item invalid
        6. item decline authorization
  2. Select the items you wish to rush.

  3. If you want to select all the items, click the Check All link.
  4. If you want to deselect all the items, click the Uncheck All link.
  5. Choose a reason from the reason drop down list.
  6. Enter any notes about the item in the notes section.

  1. Click the  Save button to save your changes and mark the selected items as shipped.
  2. To cancel any of the current changes you have made, click the  Cancel button.
    1. This will close the Mark Item as Shipped window without saving any changes.

What to Expect

  1. The Rush column will be checked on the line item.
  2. CS event will be added to customer record

  3. For any items on back order, when inventory is received into the system, items checked for Rush will be assigned inventory over paid orders and/or older orders.
  4. Once the order has exported in a shipping file, the Packing Slip will display Shipping Method = RSH
