What Are Shipping Charge Profiles

Shipping Charge Profile are the different prices to charge for shipping on an order. Shipping Charge Profile require a Shipping Methods to be associated to control the way the order ships.

When a shipping method is selected during order entry, the order will not go through the preauthorization process if the offers are set for this. The price from the associated Shipping Charge Profile will assign to the first line item during order creation.

Where Will I See This Within OLX?

Shipping Charge Profile can be seen on the order detail screen once the order is created and will display as either REG or RSH on the packing slip, depending how you setup the shipping method.

Setup



Tool Bar

Utilizing the buttons on the tool bar  you can: 
Go back to the previous screen 
Add new 
Print 

Filter

You can use the filter options to narrow down the displayed selections.



  1. Client
  2. Profile Name
  3. Script Count
  4. Shipping Method
  5. Type
Add additional filters by click the Add button 
Apply the filtered selections by clicking Apply Filter 
Remove the filtered selections by clicking Remove Filter 
To show inactive accounts in the displayed records check Show Inactive 
You can set the number of records to be displayed 
 

Add New

  1. To copy an existing record, click on the copy button next to the record you want to copy.
  2. To edit an existing record, click on the edit pencil next to the record you wish to edit.
  3. To add a new record, click on the Add New button in the blue module bar.
    1. A new window will pop up.


  1. Profile name
    1. this will be displayed on the order detail screen
  2. Client
  3. Shipping Method from the drop down list. 
    1. Click the Add Button  to create a new Shipping Method.
  4. Profile Type
    1. Order $ Total
    2. Item Count

Details Tab

  1. click Add new record  button to add a new shipping charge profile 
  2. Up To
    1. if Profile type =
      1. Order $ Total - enter max dollar amount the total cannot exceed to apply charge to
      2. Item Count - enter max number of items the charge will apply to
  3. Shipping Charge
    1. this is value that will be applied to the S&H column on line 1 during order creation
  4. Click
    1. Save  icon to save the profile details
    2. cancel  icon to undo the changes

Scripts Tab

  1. Highlight the Script name from the Available list 
    1. click the right single arrow to move it to the Selected list
  2. To select multiple Scripts click on the first Script desired and press and hold the CTRL button on your keyboard while selecting additional Scripts
    1. click the right single arrow to move it to the Selected list
  3. To move all of the Scripts from Available to Selected click the right double arrows
To move columns out of the Selected list, repeat the steps above and click the left facing arrow(s).


* To save the changes click the Save button .
* To cancel any of the current changes you have made click the Cancel button .
      This will close the window without saving any changes.
* To apply the current changes, you have made click the Apply button .
* To print the current window, click the Print button .
* To delete the selection, click the Delete button .
      This will prompt you to make sure you want to delete this item.

  • Clicking OK will delete the selected item and close the window.
