What Is IP Access List

The IP Access List is a whitelist for eligible IP access to the system.

Alert
By default all IPs are allowed. 


Making The Connection

Where Will I See This Within OLX?

This will allow agents to login and not login, from specific IP ranges.

Trouble Shooting

  1. User is able to login outside the IP range set for them

    1. Check the global user to see if the IP range the user in question is logging in with is covered.

Admin Tab

Navigate to Company > HR > IP Access List



  1. Comments
    1. Distinct notes on IP setting for allowed user/s.
  2. CIDR - (Classless Inter-Domain Routing) 
    1. block of IP addresses 
  3. Start Range
    1. will auto fill based on CIDR setting.
    2. adjust as needed for static range.
  4. End Range
    1. - will auto fill based on CIDR setting.
    2. adjust as needed for static range.
  5. User - 
    1. specific agent
    1. Global - all users are eligible to use this IP range.
  6. Active - 
    1. checked - the IP range is whitelisted for user.
    2. unchecked - record is not in use.
  7. Modified By
    1. who made last edits


Add New

  1. To add a new record, click on the Add New button 

      1. A new window will pop up.

          1. Comment - Required Field
            1. Distinct notes on IP setting for allowed user/s.
          2. CIDR - Not Required 
            1. (Classless Inter-Domain Routing) 
            2. will automatically set Start/End Range for you
          3. Start Range - Required Field
            1. will auto fill based on CIDR setting.
            2. adjust as needed for static range.
          4. End Range - Required Field
            1. - will auto fill based on CIDR setting.
            2. adjust as needed for static range.
          5. Active - Required Field
            1. checked - the IP range is whitelisted for user.
            2. unchecked - record is not in use.
          6. User - Required Field 
            1. drop down will list agents in alphabetical order by first name set on Employee List
            1. Global
              1. default setting.
              2. all users are eligible to use this IP range.
          7. Save button - will close popup after saving changes made.
          8. Cancel button - will close popup without making any changes.


Edit Existing Record



Clicking on the pencil icon will display the record in a popup and allow you to adjust as needed.

  1. Comment - Required Field
    1. Distinct notes on IP setting for allowed user/s.
  2. CIDR - Not Required 
    1. (Classless Inter-Domain Routing) 
    2. will automatically set Start/End Range for you
  3. Start Range - Required Field
    1. will auto fill based on CIDR setting.
    2. adjust as needed for static range.
  4. End Range - Required Field
    1. - will auto fill based on CIDR setting.
    2. adjust as needed for static range.
  5. Active - Required Field
    1. checked - the IP range is whitelisted for user.
    2. unchecked - record is not in use.
  6. User - Required Field 
    1. drop down will list agents in alphabetical order by first name set on Employee List
    1. Global
      1. default setting.
      2. all users are eligible to use this IP range.
  7. Save button - will close popup after saving changes made.
  8. Cancel button - will close popup without making any changes.
  9. Delete button - will remove record and IP will no longer be whitelisted.


Logs Tab



  1. User Name
    1. As set on Employee List
  2. Attempted Dttm
    1. Day and time login was attempted
  3. IP Address
    1. IP address login was attempted from
  4. Successful?
    1. Yes - user was admitted into the system.
    2. No - user was denied.
  5. Granted By Comments
    1. Comment set from Admin tab when creating IP Access record.
    2. OLX Support Access - OrderLogix employee
  6. Start Range
    1. As set from Admin tab when creating IP Access record.
  7. End Range
    1. As set from Admin tab when creating IP Access record.


Filter



  1. User - enter as many characters as needed to search for agent by first name

  2. Start Date - enter date to begin seeing records for

  3. End Date - enter date to end seeing records for

  4. Apply Button - load records for values set above.

Notes
TIP - to see listing for a single date range set the start date to the day of and end date to the day after.
