Navigate to Company Data>Inventory>Category List.  The values that are defaulted in the system will display when creating an inventory item. 
The ability to associate a category with an inventory item is a section that could potentially be used in the feature for inventory reports, however currently it does not have functionality other than a descriptive category of an item.



  • To add a new category click the  'Add new' button in the module title. This will evoke the category window to pop up:




  1. Enter the code for the category.
  2. Enter a description of the category.
  • To Save the current category and close the edit window, click the save button.
  • To Cancel current changes to the category and close the edit window without saving, click the cancel button.
  • To Delete the current category, click the delete button.
  • To Print the category, click the print button.
