What Are Media Formats

The Media Formats section is where you set up Media Formats that are associated with a TV/Radio Station or other media outlet.

Making The Connection

Where Will I See This Within OLX?

Media Formats are associated with a Station and connect Media Type which in turn connects an Ad Type.

Setup



Tool Bar

Utilizing the buttons on the tool bar  you can: 
Go back to the previous screen 
Add new 
Print 
Minimize module 

Filter

You can use the filter options to narrow down the displayed selections.


  1. Client
  2. Media Format
  3. Media Type
Add additional filters by click the Add button 
Apply the filtered selections by clicking Apply Filter 
Remove the filtered selections by clicking Remove Filter 
To show inactive accounts in the displayed records check Show Inactive 
You can set the number of records to be displayed 
 

Add New

  1. To edit an existing record, click on the edit pencil next to the record you wish to edit.
  2. To add a new record, click on the Add New button in the blue module bar.
    1. A new window will pop up.

  1. Enter a name for the Media Format.
  2. Select the Client that the Media Format is associated to.
    1. None - sets by default and allows to be used by multiple clients.
    2. if a specific client is set, only that client will be able to use
  3. Select the Media Type or click the  Add button to add a new one.
    1. The Media Types area is where you set up media categories and the Ad types that will fall under the category.
  4. Choose a station (or media outlet) from the drop-down list to add to this Media Format.  Click the  Add Station button to add it to the format.
    1. Media outlets being used in your system
      Alert
      Note: The station list is dependent on the media type selected. Only stations of the type selected will appear.
  5. Click Add New Station to create a new station from the media format window.
  6. To delete a station from the Format, click the red X  next to the station name.


* To save the changes click the Save button .
* To cancel any of the current changes you have made click the Cancel button .
      This will close the window without saving any changes.
* To apply the current changes, you have made click the Apply button .
* To print the current window, click the Print button .
* To delete the selection, click the Delete button .
      This will prompt you to make sure you want to delete this item.

  • Clicking OK will delete the selected item and close the window.
