Setting an Item on Hold:
To hold an item, click the Hold Item button at the top of the Order Items section of the page.
- The Hold Items pop up window will appear.
- Select the items you wish to hold.
- If you want to select all the items, click the Check All link.
- Enter a date to hold the item until.
- Choose a reason from the reason drop down list.
- Enter any notes about the item in the notes section.
- Click the Save button to save your changes and hold the selected items.
- To cancel any of the current changes you have made, click the Cancel button. This will close the Hold Items window without saving any changes.
Release an Item from Hold:
For items on hold only. This option allows you to remove the release date of the held item(s) so it becomes available for processing.
To release hold of an item, click the Hold Item button at the top of the Order Items section of the page.
- The Hold Items pop up window will appear.
- Deselect the items you wish to release hold of.
- If you want to deselect all the items, click the Uncheck All link.
- Choose a reason from the reason drop down list.
- Enter any notes about the item in the notes section.

Click the Save button to save your changes and release hold of the selected items.

To cancel any of the current changes you have made, click the Cancel button. This will close the Hold Items window without saving any changes.
