Trouble Shooting

I am already using Script Rules with addresses configured - what are my options?

If you already have a long list of addresses configured in Script Rules and would like switch to using the Banned Address List you will need to create a billable ticket with the OLX Customer Care team and we can create a single list with all of your addresses for you.

Setup

Navigate to Company Data > Advertising > Banned Address List



Tool Bar

Utilizing the buttons on the tool bar  you can:
Print 
Minimize module 

Add New

  1. At the top left of the screen under the blue header click on the add new button 

  2. Give the new list a unique List Name
  3. Save the list

    2. If you try to add a new entry before saving the list you will receive an error
  4. To add a new address click on the add new button under the Filter search bar

  5. Add the details for the banned address in any or all of the fields, utilizing the wild card (*) character as needed

  6. Click the Save button  when completed
  7. Repeat steps 4-6 until all address are entered

Edit List

  1. Click on the pencil icon  to edit any list on the lister page
  2. click on the  in the top right corner to exit the popup
  3. To filter to a specific entry you can enter a value in the Filter bar

    2. To remove a value from the filter bar click on the X  in the right corner
  4. Use the navigation buttons to move from one lister page to another
  5.  tells you which lister page you are of the total number of lister pages
  6.  allows you to easily navigate to a specific lister page
  7.  allows you to display 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 records on each lister page
  8. Click the Save button to save the edits made to the list
  9. Click the Close button  to close the list without saving any edits
  10. Click the Delete button to delete the List

How To

Now that you have your Banned Address List created you are ready to activate it within OLX. This can be done via Global Script Rules or individual Script Rules.

Once you have setup the Rule to your business needs and are ready to set the condition you will set the IF Conditions = Unconditional.
THEN Conditions > select Banned Address Script Rule from the Condition drop down.



You will notice the Condition popup will now display as such:


  1. Invert
    1. this option allows to turn the setting from disallow to allow
  2. Address List
    1. all Banned Address Lists configured in the Banned Address List module (see above)
  3. Address Type
    1. Billing Address
    2. Shipping Address
    3. Both
