Using HTML on the home page

Using HTML on the home page

It has been found that when creating a document in word or excel and then pasting into the homepage that this can create issues with OLX slowing to a halt.   Here is some information that will assist when using HTML

We know that tables can create issues but not all the time.

If you used Microsoft Word to make the HTML it can be problematic given the markup/tags it uses. If not, then chances are you missed a closing tag (e.g. note the /)

You should try this service:

http://validator.w3.org/#validate_by_input

it will let you paste in the HTML and it verifies that the HTML is good. Hand coding HTML is simple for small docs but is cumbersome to even the seasoned professional when making large, complex documents
