Issue: No Sales Screen Pop: Related to CTI

If you subscribe to our CTI (softphone) and the sales screen does not automatically open/launch when an agent answers a sales call, then this may be related to Java. In this scenario events would be coming through the CTI server, but you'd be receiving "session 0" in the logs.

 

To remedy the issue you would need to reinstall the latest version of Java, while logged in as administrator (in PC) so that the applet can be "Always trusted"...

 

1) Log into the PC as an 'administrator' (in Windows).

 

2) Download and install Java...

 

3) Run OLX while still logged in as administrator the first time you log into OLX after installing Java… This is because the applet will ask you for permission to run. You should choose "Always" so that the agents will not have to be administrator-level access to use the Java applet. NOTE:  if you do not choose Always then the agents will have issues connecting.

If you verify all the Java is at version 1.6, then you should make sure your firewall is allowing the communications to the hosted server.
